Rönnlund Assar

(September 3, 1935 in Savar [1]) - Swedi sh cross country skier. Triple Olympic champion. Competed at the Olympics three times (IO 60 IO 64 IO 68), imported from two Olymp ics medals. In 1964, on the run for a distance of 50 km took seco nd place, losing only to his fellow Sixten Jernbergiem, and together with his colleagues won the 4x10 km relay. Four years later, was composed of silver relay. Earlier, in 1962, dominated the competition at the world championships in Zakopane, winning three medals: gold in the 15 km relay and a silver at 50 km.
